One Colorado is the state’s leading advocacy organization dedicated to advancing equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) Coloradans and their families.
We effectively advocate for LGBT Coloradans and their families by lobbying the General Assembly, executive branch, and local governments on issues like safe schools, transgender equality, relationship recognition, and LGBT health and human services.
We also work to change the hearts and minds of everyday Coloradans on LGBT issues. Through our public education efforts where we tell the stories of the barriers LGBT Coloradans face every day, we have started to change public opinion about LGBT families in Colorado.
