The Statewide Convening on LGBT Youth brings together people who work with lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) young people to learn about their unique needs and experiences. Convening participants will have access to the latest tools and resources to develop skills for serving and addressing the concerns of LGBT youth.

The day-long program includes an engaging panel of young LGBT people; sessions on health and wellness, legal issues, transgender youth, and bullying intervention strategies; and a keynote address from Dr. Eliza Byard, Executive Director of GLSEN.
The Statewide Convening on LGBT Youth is hosted by One Colorado Education Fund and the National Education Policy Center at the School of Education at the University of Colorado Boulder with Co-Chair Governor John Hickenlooper.
