Brad Clark

Brad Clark, Executive DirectorBrad Clark is the Executive Director of One Colorado, leading the organization’s efforts to secure and protect equality and opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Coloradans. He joined One Colorado in May 2010 as its first Executive Director.

Brad came to Colorado from Iowa, where he served as Campaign Director of One Iowa. In Iowa, Brad built a coalition of nearly 100 allied organizations representing more than 200,000 Iowans and built a grassroots infrastructure of more than 12,500 members and 33,000 identified supporters.

As well as leading One Iowa’s successful marriage equality campaign, Brad’s accomplishments include a successful safe schools campaign. As the executive director of Iowa Safe Schools, Brad led a coalition of education, civil rights, labor, faith, and business leaders to help pass a comprehensive safe schools law and civil rights law to protect LGBT Iowans from discrimination.

Born and raised in Iowa, Brad graduated from Central College in 2003 with a bachelor’s in economics and political science. At Central, Brad served as the student body president as well as a member of Central College’s board of trustees.
