Denver, CO – One Colorado, the state’s leading advocacy organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) Coloradans and their families; and GLAAD, the world’s LGBTQ media advocacy organization, are mourning the loss of the five Club Q victims who were murdered on November 19, 2022.

Ashley Paugh (she/her), 35 years old

‍

Daniel Aston (he/him), 28 years old, Club Q employee and bartender

‍

Derrick Rump (he/him), 38 years old, Club Q employee and bartender

‍

Kelly Loving (she/her), 40 years old

‍

Raymond Green Vance (he/him), 22 years old

We are keeping the 19 injured, the many additional Club Q victims who experienced this immense trauma, and their loved ones in our hearts. We are working with officials on the ground to identify the most pressing needs of the community and most effective direction of funds. We appreciate your patience as we sort through the aftermath of this tragedy.

We encourage our community to take action in support of the Club Q victims, their families, and LGBTQ+ Coloradans in the following ways:

  • Donate to the Colorado Healing Fund, which will directly support Club Q, the victims, their families, and those affected by this tragedy.
  • Local Coloradans are encouraged to donate blood if they are able to assist the victims.
  • Follow One Colorado, Inside Out Youth Services, and GLAAD for up-to-date information on community needs, resources, and upcoming vigils

Join a local vigil tonight to mourn together as a community:

  • Colorado Springs: Vigil at Club Q – tonight, November 21st, 6pm – details
  • Denver: Vigil at ReelWorks – tonight, November 21st, 7pm – details‍

In cooperation with the FBI Civil Rights division, if you have any information about the night of the attack at Club Q, please call 1-800-CALL FBI.
